Lamtera to build ‘Freej’ theme park

LONDON Lamtara Pictures, the shingle behind popular animated skein “Freej” have inked a deal with U.A.E.-based real estate company Tatweer to develop a four million sq. ft theme park based on the hit show.The entertainment destination will be located in Dubailand, the 3 billion sq. ft. mega-project launched by Dubai Sheik Mohammed to turn the emirate into one of the world’s premier tourist destinations.

“Freej” is the Middle East’s first 3-D animated skein and airs exclusively on pan-Arab satcaster Dubai TV and terrestrial net Sama Dubai, both of which are part of Dubai Media Inc.
