Roku to Add Amazon VOD

Another day, another Netflix-related advancement. According to online reports, Roku - a provider that enables certain Netflix movies to air directly on television sets - announced that it will soon add Amazon’s Video On Demand to their boxes. The Amazon streaming service is expected within the next few months. So what does that mean exactly? It means soon, Netflix subscribers will be able to stream (not download so it’ll be instant) movies directly to their sets on the exact day a DVD is released. For more on the story, read here.
