Action-Packed Summer for Burger King

CHICAGO (AdAge.com) — It’s still early, but so far Burger King looks like a superhero in the summer tie-in category. The fast-feeder, coming off a wildly successful promotion of “Iron Man,” is making a big push behind “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” which opens today. With kids-meal toys, in-store and online games, and a limited-time Indy Whopper (double patties, bacon, Cajun mayo and pepper jack cheese), Cindy Syracuse, senior director-marketing impact at Burger King, said this is one of the chain’s biggest movie promotions ever.
